Fundraising Summary

The Welwyn Community Centre and Mosque has come long since its beginnings. Due to the rapid growth of Welwyn's Muslim community, we now require a larger and more purpose-driven building to accommodate our religious education, information, and cultural activities beyond the Muslim community. For this reason, we have calculated an estimated cost of £3.02m for purchasing a new building that can better cater to our expanding religious education, information, and cultural needs. We aim to continue providing a centre for spiritual growth and engagement for individuals from all backgrounds, irrespective of religion, race, and gender.

The new facility is envisioned as a hub of worship and cultural engagement for all, catering to both the devout and the wider community, spanning all ages. It's designed to serve as a resource centre for families and young learners, a nurturing space for emerging entrepreneurs, and a comprehensive healthcare destination offering medical, dental, and holistic services. Furthermore, an on-site café/deli will promote community ties and provide sustenance for those in need.

With this planned expansion and its array of services, Welwyn Community Centre and Mosque remain committed to ensuring every individual feels a profound sense of belonging, purpose, and personal growth.
