Sylhet, in northeast Bangladesh, has seen villagers wade through streets that were flooded up to their knees.
Out of four districts in Sylhet division – 89 percent area of Sunamganj, 72 percent of Sylhet, 70 percent of Habiganj, and 50 percent of Moulvibazar was submerged.
Some Bangladesh government officials have described the recent flooding as the country's worst since 2004.
The Flood Forecasting and Warning Center (FFWC) said, the water level will rise further in the Sylhet division as heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in the Sylhet division in the next 24 hours.

The flood was triggered on Wednesday (June 15, 2022) due to torrential rainfall in the north-eastern districts, and the flash flood in upstream India's Meghalaya and Assam where record-breaking rainfall was recorded.
More than 40 lakh people remain marooned in different upazilas and towns while other areas are on the verge of being inundated in the Sylhet division.
"The whole village went under water by early Friday and we all got stranded," Lokman, whose family lives in Companiganj village in Bangladesh, told AFP news agency.
"After waiting a whole day on the roof of our home, a neighbor rescued us with a makeshift boat. My mother said she has never seen such floods in her entire life," the 23-year-old added.

Flooding in Bangladesh worsened on Saturday morning after a temporary reprieve from the rains the previous afternoon, Sylhet region chief government administrator Mosharraf Hossain told AFP.
“The situation is bad. More than four million people have been stranded by flood water,” Hossain said, adding that nearly the entire region was without electricity.

It was narrated by ath-Thabrani and al-Baihaqi from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir (Radhiyallahu 'anhu) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Indeed, charity extinguishes the heat of the grave from its inhabitants. Indeed, the believer on the Day of Judgment will take shelter under the shade of his charity.”

2000 Moslem Minority in Indonesia have been CENTURIES live in dark!
They needed a diesel electric device or generator or Solar Panels to support their activities. A traditional lamp with fuel oil is also their friend at night.
There are no health facilities in Marisa Village, especially with the lack of access to electricity there. So that if there are residents who are sick and need medical treatment, they have to cross the island first for hours.
We hope they can have adequate electricity source facilities, this can help fix other problems such as the availability of adequate health facilities as well so that there is no need for more lives to be sacrificed.
