The Yan Taro Project, founded by Ieasha Prime follows in the legacy of Nana Asmau by providing education, water and wellness to those in need. 

Nana Asmau was the daughter of the great Caliph, Scholar and warrior Uthman Dan Fodio. After climbing the heights of scholarship she would travel to West African villages teaching women Quran, fiqh, aqeedah and hadith. She also would build schools, clinics and systems for economic empowerment for women in every village she taught. She called this Yan Taru (The Blessed Collective). Today, after 250 years, we are rebuilding her legacy, reestablishing her work in WEST Africa.

What we are are building in the Gambia

Supporting an orphan is a very beautiful work; now pause imagine what it would mean to build a safe space for ophans in The Gambia. This endevour needs your support and will cost including plumbing and electrical $45,000 USD.

Within this facility there will be 5 restrooms, 2 showers and an enclosed facility for sisters ablution and a brothers area for ablution Gambia orphans Support orphaned children studying Hifz in the Gambia Iftars in the gambia Weekly Humanity for All is hosting Iftars in The Gambia for 100 beneficiaries. It costs $2 to provide a warm nutritious meal in The Gambia.

$4700 USD solar powered water well in Sutu Sinjang for 100 families. Each  solar powered well pumps water to tanks of up to 10,000 litres and up to 10 taps, working simultaneously, alleviating wait and walk times.
