No matter who you are, where you live, or what you look like, one thing is certain: Eid is for everyone!

More than 16.2 million people in Yemen are suffering from food shortage and it's been considered as the Worlds worst humanitarian crisis ever. With your help we can provide meat and bread to the families and gifts and clothes to the orphans.

The Prophet (s.a.w.) mentioned that one of the most beloved acts to Allah (s.w.t) is that you feed a beloved brother or sister who is hungry a loaf of bread; this is in addition to our religious duties and obligations, namely, Qurbani. The Prophet (s.a.w) said that "It is the sunnah of your father Ibrahim (AS), for every hair of the Qurbani you will receive a reward from Allah and for every hair in the wool you will receive a reward."

Most, if not all recipients of your Qurbani/Udhiya eat meat only once a year. Provide the men, women, and children of Yemen with bread and meat this Eid ul Adha.

WHERE DOES THE BREAD COME FROM?

Human Concern International runs and operates bakeries in Yemen that each provides 2400 fresh loaves of bread on a daily basis to Yemeni families living in poverty. Your contribution will provide a family with 10 loaves of fresh bread for breakfast on the morning of Eid ul Adha.

WHERE DOES THE MEAT COME FROM?

The meat is sourced in Yemen and provided to Yemenis in need. The meat comes from cows and from goats. They're inspected to ensure that they meet all the requirements of an acceptable sacrificial offering.

WHAT YOUR DONATION MEANS

Last year, your donations meant that 334 families (1,670 people) were provided with meat and food to take part in the joy and celebration of Eid ul Adha.

This is Amin Ahmed. Amin was a porter working in Al-Hodaidah. Last year, the dire circumstances forced him to move to Sanna with his family (mother, 3 children, a widow sister and her daughter).

The conflict in Yemen has made life difficult for him. Today he is struggling to provide his family with basic necessities. He spends his day looking for labor job opportunities, and although he works very hard, he does not make enough to fulfill the needs of his family.

THE SITUATION IS DIRE

With 16.2 million Yemenis facing food insecurity, the current level of hunger in Yemen is unprecedented. Almost 100,000 children under the age of five are at risk of dying in Yemen as the country slides back into a hunger crisis.

DONATE NOW

Making a donation today means more and more children, women, families, and the elderly will take part in the joy and celebration of Eid.
