Yemen is the worlds largest humanitarian crisis. Wars have always ruined the lives of ordinary citizens like you and I, today the lives of 30 million people is at stake due to war, hunger, diseases and malnutrition.
According to the UN Secretary-General, Antonia Guterres, 22 Million are in need of Humanitarian Aid and 18 Million people are in need of food.
A group of young people in Canada decided to focus on the issue of hunger and provide a sustainable solution for the people of Yemen. After months of coordination with a local charity, we finally had a plan; a bakery. A bakery that will provide 1.46 Million pieces of bread to the people for free. Sustainability is funded by those who can afford to pay for the bread in Yemen.
The collected funds will go to Human Concern International in Ottawa, you can verify this project with the officials from HCI, Br Osman Noorani or Br Abdel-Rahman Hossein.
When the Owner of the Heavens and the Earth says he is super close to us, there is no fear of failure. We know, Insha-Allah, He will help us attain our goal. We ask him to purify our intentions and place immense barakah in this blessed initiative.
Ya Allah, you are Ar-Raziq, make us amongst those that extend your Rizq to your noble slaves. You are Ar-Rahman, make us amongst those that extend your Rahmah and make us among its recipients too. You are Al-Waddud, so make us amongst those that extend your love to your creation.

Hello & Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatulla,
We pray this message finds you well. We are very excited to share this news with you. We begin by extending our sincere gratitude to each and every one of you who contributed to this beautiful project, inshaAllah this will be a continuous charity for you and your loved ones. We have received some updates from our project partners and we wanted to share those with you. The construction is near completion, attached below are some images from the site. May Allah accept it from each and everyone of you. Ameen!
With just a few days to go before this campaign comes to end, we wanted to request you to kindly share this with your friends and family and encourage them to participate in this initiative. If you are part of a mosque or a charity organization that is interested in alleviating the suffering of the People of Yemen - We can present the project to them to get closer to the funds we need for completion. HCI is a Canadian registered charity with a long track record and inshaAllah every penny will be put to good use.
That's how many breads will be baked daily, yearly through this establishment, just imagine the smile of little kids when they receive a fresh-baked bread after days of not having a morsel of fresh food or the prayer of the parents for you for being the source of their sustenance OR the biggest one of all - imagine; Allah makes mention of this bakery and accepts it from us. Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,
This is from my heart, so take a few minutes to read it, please.
Honestly, I don't have enough words to express my gratitude to all of you for contributing to this cause. All I can do is make dua for you and your families. It's not easy to comprehend the impact you have made, it's massive. Wallah, the situation in the World is unbearable, however, its the plan of Allah and we accept it. We are weak, so we lack the hikmah, the foresight, and the knowledge to understand the challenges we face, except to believe in the decree of Allah. Our role is just to pass the test. Think about it for a second, how do we pass this test? If we saw someone in need, did we pass by? or did we help?
In light of this campaign, we saw those images from Yemen and we helped, Alhamdulillah; we are capable of good work only with His permission, His Hidayah, and His Rahmah.
Time and time again, we are tested as Human beings. We were tested in Kashmir, in Bosnia, in India, in Pakistan, in Afghanistan, in Syria, in Iraq, in Libya, in Somalia, in Yemen, in China and the list goes on. Our job I believe is to try and help each other, or those in need, irrespective of their color, their race, their nationality, their religion, their lineage and so on; with sincerity that He the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth accepts it in His court. I heard a scholar explain a verse in the Quran, and he mentioned that Muslims are hard-wired to serve the Creation of Allah. Are we fulfilling this colossal responsibility? I am not, not even close. I am trying to do whatever is in my power. I am sure you are far better than I am.
Last year, I was blessed to perform Hajj with my wife with some incredible Muslims, a lot has changed since then. There is a desire in our hearts to be part of the solution to the challenges humanity faces globally. This fundraiser was our first attempt at something! As I type this message, I am miles away from reaching my goal of raising $60,000 and something in my heart says that I have been rewarded for the $60,000. How amazing is Our Khaliq!
Allah is our Master, isn't he? He is The Most Merciful, so he loves to extend His Mercy. He is The Most Loving, so he extends His love to His Creation. What an incredible Master, the one who rewards His slave 10x the compensation for a task undone. SubhanAllah!
My brothers and sisters, make it a mission to serve humanity in the most beautiful manner. Love those that hate you. Forgive those who just can't stop breaking you. Help those who can never return your favors. Stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Allow your heart to see the beauty in the soul of another human before you are distracted to notice their faults and their shortcomings.
Tonight is ANOTHER BIG NIGHT and we believe in the unseen! Make dua that by some miracle we reach our desired goal of $60,000.
We hope and pray that Allah accepts whatever good we have done this month, may He grant us forgiveness and Maghfirah. We pray that after this blessed month passes that Allah allows our Eemaan, our Yaqeen, and our Ilm to grow every second of the day. May He protect us from our only enemy, Shaitaan.
May He increase us in strength so we may do more good, may He increase us in speech so we may spread His message in grace, May He increase us in Mercy so we may extend His mercy to His creation. Allah is indeed a witness to everything, the apparent and the hidden, we ask Him to pardon any impurities in our intentions for we are weak and He is The All-Powerful. Allahumma Ameen!
