Apex Waqf initiative

At Apex Primary School, we are committed to providing the best possible learning
environment for our students, and part of that commitment involves supporting our dedicated
staff. The Apex Waqf campaign aims to raise funds to help improve the standards of the
school working environment as well as our community as a whole. Details of the Apex Waqf
can be found in the booklet provided.
 

To make this campaign a success, we need the involvement of every member of our school
community, including you and your child. By working together, we can make a meaningful
difference in the lives of our staff and the quality of education we provide.
Enclosed with this letter, you will find a detailed booklet outlining the campaign objectives,
fundraising targets, and instructions on how your child can get involved. Whether it's through
organising sponsored activities, reaching out to family and friends for donations, or
participating in fundraising events, there are many ways for your child to contribute.
I kindly request that you take the time to go through the booklet with your child and
encourage them to actively participate in the campaign. Your support and guidance will not
only help them understand the importance of giving back to their school community but also
instil valuable lessons about empathy, generosity, and teamwork.
 

Additionally, please consider sharing the campaign details with friends and family members
who may be interested in supporting our cause. Every contribution, no matter how big or
small, will make a difference in achieving our fundraising goals.
As an incentive for their efforts, there are exciting prizes to be won for reaching specific
fundraising targets, including a 10-inch tablet and an opportunity to win a Bosnia Trip
(package only, excluding flights). Details about the prizes and targets are provided in the
enclosed booklet.

Apex Rangers Fundraising Campaign Brief

Objective:
The primary goal of this fundraising campaign is to support the Apex Waqf initiative, aimed at securing
funds for the intended pay rise for staff at Apex Primary School. By engaging students, staff, and
parents in fundraising activities, we aim to raise awareness and generate contributions towards this
cause.
 

Prizes:
£1,000 Fundraised:
Prize: 10-inch Tablet (or similar value and specification)
 

£3,000 Fundraised:
Prize: Tarbiyah trip ATT (package only, excluding flights).

By working collaboratively as a school community, we can support the Apex Waqf initiative and
contribute towards the betterment of our school and its staff. Thank you for your dedication and

The Apex Waqf Project 

This project embodies the essence of Islamic Endowment, offering a platform for individuals to contribute towards sustainable, long-term projects that benefit the Muslim community. With a focus on education and tarbiyah(spiritual nurturing), the project aims to create a robust ecosystem that fosters Islamic ethics while nurturing skills and talents. Through these initiatives, we envision a fair and prosperous society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. Most of us are tired of giving hand to mouth, giving charity with no impact or no sustainability planned. 

In short the Apex Waqf is a communal fund, that is initiated with the kind donations and legacy gifts of the community. With projects dedicated only to self sustaining models that have the wider benefit to the community. This includes for example establishing institutions, masjids, schools and other communal necessity projects or support and continued maintenance of such, where the need maybe.

Our principles for our projects are 6:

1. GIVE ONCE, GIVE FOREVER!
Giving to the Apex Trust is Sadaqah Jaariyah.
The donation will continue to benefit in this world and the next.   

2. BACK TO LEGACY
Reviving the Sunnah and from our Islamic History, 
Bringing back communal and sustainable projects & support funds.  

3. SELF-SUSTAINABLE MODEL
Every one of our projects will be designed to be self-sustaining.
Projects shouldn’t rely on hand-outs & designed to be independent. 

4. BUILDING WITH IHSAAN
To do everything with Ihsaan & Transparency.
Working with Honesty & Intergrity with all of our projects. 

5. COMMUNITY FIRST
Funds are for projects that put the community first.
The benefit should be for the wider community & people.   

6. GROWTH & FRUITS
Funds will be for projects that have the capacity to grow and scale up, 
and bare “fruits”, being high impact projects for the community.
