The scholarly curriculum is up to 17 years, including 63 disciplines and an excellent memorising of “Muttūn” (Textbooks of Knowledge) with “Riwāya” (certified chain of narration). The comprehensive curriculum ensures both understanding of sciences and how to apply them in the context of modern societies.
The annual cost to sponsor a student scholar is £1800. This covers food, housing, health coverage, learning supplies, and more etc. There are 550 students - around 20% of whom are females.
The Markaz Takwīn al-‘Ulamā in Mauritania is part of the effort to preserve and transmit the authentic message of Islam.
The collection of the donations is conducted by Sciences & Education Association. We are a non-profit organisation that exists to facilitate a safe transfer of funds to the Markaz.
