The Muslim community of Louisville is incredibly saddened by the sudden loss of a beloved member, Zain Ahmed Baig. 

Zain was an incredibly charming and bright young man, with a smile that could lighten the darkest of paths. His charisma and positivity invited happiness into the hearts of all those around him. He was a fixture at masajids in the Louisville community; a familiar face to all. 

Zain's family and close friends would like to extend the opportunity of Sadaqah-e-Jariah (continuous charity) to those who wish to contribute on his behalf. All donations will be dedicated towards building a community recreation center at The Muslim Community Center of Louisville. 

In doing so, we refer to the following Hadith (teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), “When a person dies, all their deeds are cemented except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a person who prays for them.”

We appreciate your support and ask that you continue to make dua and pray on behalf of our brother Zain. Please help us create a space for the youth where the happiness Zain emanated continues to prosper. JazakAllah Khairan.
