“In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful…” join us for our 2024 Ramadan campaign* to provide halal iftar meals to Muslim refugees in Athens, Greece.
With your help, we can help more Muslim refugees this Ramadan 2024. Your donation will directly support the procurement and preparation of fresh halal meat, rice, and other food items (including fruit, water, dates, and sweets) to be prepared in time for daily iftar. We will distribute iftar meals through a small local cultural center located in Athens, Greece, welcoming Muslims who are from the community, live in nearby shelters, refugee camps, and who are homeless. Our cooking will be done within the cultural center’s kitchen, and we will use traditional Afghan recipes.
Alhamdulillah, we seek to continue the success of our 2023 campaign where we provided delicious, halal, and traditional meals to Muslim asylum seekers and refugees in Malakasa camp, Athens, Greece. As the only organization conducting this work, we provided over 6,000 meals to hundreds of Muslim refugees for daily iftar during the holy month of Ramadan. It is from the success of our previous campaign, that we ask our community to join us to provide nourishment to fasting Muslims in central city of Athens, Greece. Your generous donation will help ease the hardship of Muslim refugees facing poverty and displacement during Ramadan.

Eid-Al-Fitr Mubarak! Thank you to all who supported and donated to our campaign. May Allah accept all your fast, du'as and good deeds this Ramadan. May Allah provide you good health, prosperity, and happiness and may you continue your good deeds, and good habits you've built during Ramadan.
From a combination of our LaunchGood as well as other fundraising sources, we collected enough funds to provide over 2500 meals this Ramadan for fasting refugees in Greece.
We will now close this campaign for Ramadan 2024, and as Greece is 10 hours ahead of our team's local time, we have received some excess funds that will be used towards Ramadan 2025 inshAllah as Eid-Al Fitr is scheduled for April 10th, and we have completed our final night of iftar on April 9th, local Athens time, already.
