THE FEDERATION OF STUDENT ISLAMIC SOCIETIES (FOSIS) IS THE UMBRELLA BODY FOR MUSLIM STUDENTS, REPRESENTING THE VOICE OF HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF MUSLIM STUDENTs ACROSS THE UK & IRELAND.

Established in 1963, FOSIS is a broad and diverse body covering 4 countries that aims to serve and represent over 120,000 Muslim students in higher and further education across 120 affiliated Islamic Societies.

FOSIS has been the backbone for Islamic Societies and the general Muslim student population, providing guidance, training, services and mentorship.

Our activity includes, but is not limited to: annually distributing tens of thousands of materials; organising dozens of annual regional, national and international speakers’ tours; providing outstanding training and continuous support, advice and resources to Muslim Students daily and organising a variety of socials, dinners, camps and national sports tournaments.
