Starting with 27 April 2020, this campaign will be expended for a broader scope due to the needs and the request from the grass root. Now, this campaign will be known as #KitaJagaSemua Campaign 2.0.
We welcome more people, volunteers, promotion partners and collaborators to join the force to serve the vulnerable communities in Malaysia.
Distribution Update:
UPDATE 3 (Apr 26, Sunday): Alhamdulillah, today we are sending food packs to 50 Palestinian families in Ampang and 50 Sudanese families in Gombak.
UPDATE 3 (Apr 12, Sunday): Alhamdulillah, We've exceeded our third goal of RM15,000! We have increased the target to RM25,000. We sent food packs to 100 Afghan families in Ampang and 50 Rohingya families in Batu Caves Gombak this morning.
UPDATE 2 (Apr 6, Monday): Alhamdulillah thuma Alhamdulillah, We've exceeded our second goal of RM10,000! We have increased the target to RM15,000. We will send the #KitaJagaSemua Boxes to 50 Rohingya Families in Jalan Ipoh later by end of this week and we shall update the progress soonest to all donors. Our next refugee community will be 50 Afghan Families in Ampang.
UPDATE 1 (Apr 5, Sunday): We've exceeded our initial goal of RM7,000! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! With more requests for help pouring in, we have increased the target to RM10,000. We will send the #KitaJagaSemua Boxes to 52 Rohingya Families in Gombak by this week and we shall update the progress soonest to all donors.
#KitaJagaSemua campaign envisions to provide assistance to the refugee communities in sailing their life during the Movement Control Order. For them no work means no money and no money means no food and no food means no living. We aim to provide assistance to 700 refugee families in these coming weeks.
The Dream: The campaign envisions to serve the nation by serving the vulnerable communities beyond colors and nationalities. The slogan “Kita Jaga Semua” which means “We Take Care All” reflects the dream of the campaign not to be exclusive but to be inclusive. The responsibility of being Malaysian and world citizen is not only to take care of our nationality brothers and sisters but also to take care the marginalized communities who are living around us in order for our nation to be a stable nation economically and socially.

COVID-19 Movement Control Order - Effects on Refugee Communities: When the Malaysia government announce the Phase 1 of Movement Control Order from 18 - 31 March 2020 and continue with the Phase 2 of the order from 1 - 14 April 2020, the refugee communities could not go to work to earn their living. As they are being paid on daily basis, no work means no money and no money means no food and no foods means no living. While vulnerable Malaysian communities get the assistance from the Malaysia government via the Economic Stimulus Package 2020, the refugees are facing death end road.
By addressing these highlighted issues, this campaign is addressing and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals introduced by the United Nations, which are Goal No. 2 (Zero Hunger), Goal No. 3 (Good Health & Well-Being) and Goal No. 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). , we are actually addressing the Sustain.
The Fund Management: From the money donated to #KitaJagaKita we shall utilize the fund to buy the foods and health kits & campaign coordination. We encourage the donors to support us by sponsoring the bank charges as to maximize the impact towards the beneficiaries

FITRAH COVID19 THIRD WAVE EMERGENCY FUND
Along with the third wave of COVID-19, more than 200 cases rising every day in Malaysia and several states are being forced into two weeks of Conditional Control Movement Order (CMCO) starting from October 14-27!
While most of us have already prepared for the third wave of COVID-19 Tsunami, there are vulnerable communities who totally lose their jobs, sources of income and the will to keep on going with their life.
The vulnerable community will be hard-pressed in making their living as their sources of income is disrupted by the movement restriction and the risk that comes with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Therefore, Fitrah Institute with the collaboration with Philandure and The Khadijah’s is taking this initiative to address the issue through this fundraising campaign to help those vulnerable community in going through their upcoming days.
This collaboration aims to provide immediate assistance such as food and supplies for them to survive their upcoming days.
Let’s lend our hand to share the blessings bestowed upon us to them.
