SubhanAllah we’ve all felt the effects of Coronavirus. Many of us have struggled with sickness or day-to-day life in isolation, and sadly many have lost loved ones.

Around the world, the effects of this pandemic are being felt. Millions of people are being pushed into poverty. Food shortages, lack of medical equipment and those infected face an impossible struggle with the virus due to a lack of proper medical support.

This is why I’ve joined forces with Islamic Relief to help keep vulnerable people around the people safe during the blessed month of Ramadan.

​Help feed a family this Ramadan

Right now, there’s a global food shortage due to supplies being disrupted by Coronavirus. Families living in poverty in places like Gaza, Somalia and Syria don’t have the luxury of stockpiling food.

​Alhamdulillah Islamic Relief works in 30+ countries around the world providing life-saving food packs for families in need. Last year they managed to support over 900,000 people around the world!

Islamic Relief makes sure that the food parcels they deliver around the world are tailored to local cuisines and diets.

​The Prophet (SAW) said: “Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Tirmidhi)

Among the many wonderful blessings of donating Sadaqah is that Allah (SWT) has promised to relieve us from calamities and bring us good health, Alhamdulillah.
