Bangladesh is facing its worst flood in recent memory, leaving over 1.5 million people in Feni, Cumilla, Noakhali, Habiganj, and Moulvibazar stranded. Entire communities have been cut off, with homes and livelihoods destroyed.

As you know, Bangladesh has been a kind host to the Rohingya refugees for the past seven years, and BASMAH has been dedicated to helping these refugees. The host country is facing another big crisis—severe floods affecting over 5 million people, including 1.5 million children. Entire communities are struggling to survive after this disaster.

We’ve been on the ground from day one, working with the Bangladesh Army, providing clean water, food, hot meals, emergency ambulance services, and setting up medical camps. But now, as the floodwaters go down, the needs are even greater. Many have lost everything, and the need for post-flood rebuilding is urgent. We’re focusing on WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and Housing projects, but we can’t do it alone.

We need your help. Just $3,000 can rebuild a family’s home. A donation of $1,000 can build a clean, safe washroom, and $500 will install a clean water well. Even a small donation can make a big difference.

We kindly ask your community to support this cause. A Jummah appeal at your masjid for the flood victims would greatly help. Together, we can rebuild lives and bring hope to those in need.
