Help us provide Grief Recovery to 100 widows over the next year!

Hearts Connecting supports widows of all ages—women in their late 20s into their 80s—and married for as little as one year and up to 50 years. Their shared experience and a need to heal unites widowed Muslim women and other women of faith in our worldwide support group.

And that's where you come in...you can help these women in need of grief support and healing by sponsoring their participation in our six-week widow support group workshop.

Hearts Connecting’s widow support group workshop is a judgment-free zone where we accept each other as we are. It’s also a safe space for widows to cry, talk, heal, and, most importantly, share what they are going through emotionally with their peers.

​Creating a safe space for widows

Our goal for this campaign is to raise $19,000 to serve 100 widows over the next 12 months. It costs $190 per widow to attend the 6-week Grief Recovery Workshop.

As part of the workshop, each widow receives a Grief Recovery Digital Workbook, a Hearts Connecting gift, and access to a private community support group on Facebook.

We need you to sponsor at least one widow by donating to our campaign. We have served over 41 widows since March of 2021, and in the next 12 months, we will serve over 141 widows. Please reach deep into your hearts by donating to our Widows Support Group and share this campaign with your family, friends, and network. This is a movement that we need you to be a part of.

Your donations will help:

1. Focus directly on serving the widows by getting the word out and marketing to various Masjids and community based-centers about our support group for Muslims Widows and Women of Faith

2. Provide an emotionally safe space for an often forgotten group; the widows. 

We do not charge the widows to attend the grief recovery workshops. We believe in social impact and giving back to those in need. So, although we are an LLC, we rely on Allah’s Grace through the help and generosity of brothers and sisters such as yourself to sponsor each widow’s healing journey.

Every year, about 700,000 women become widowed. This occurs at all ages and stages of their life journey. These women suffer more than just financial hardship—the emotional turmoil requires women to take the time and seek the support needed to recover through their grief.

At Hearts Connecting, working through our Muslim Widows and Women of Faith Support Group, we know from personal experience how crucial a sense of sisterhood and community is to the grief recovery process. For only $190, you can fully sponsor one widow’s journey through our six-week program. You can ease the financial strain for these widows to ensure lack of funds is not a barrier to her participation.
