After 8 years, DREAM is at an inflection point. We just hired our first full-time Executive Director and there are a lot of changes coming to our neighborhood—a new school, an eco-friendly commercial corridor, a community land trust.

This is all a vindication of the work that DREAM's volunteers have put in over the years and the prayers and donations of our supporters. However, there's never been a more critical moment to double down on our commitment to being a leader in the change that's coming.

Our Story

You know our story because you've been a part of it. What started as one home rehab for a family in need has grown into a full-fledged community development organization responsible for bringing hope back to our neighborhood.

Our Accomplishments

Our accomplishments are clear and they include: having 14 homes rehabbed in our neighborhood (including opening our Project Homecoming transitional home and the Indus Detroit artist residency), 60 graduates from our entrepreneur training course, more than 500 volunteers engaged, leaders trained in community organizing, and over 4,000 attendees at our major events.
