On January 7, 2024, a fire broke out in Camp 5, one of the 33 camps in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. The fire left nearly 7,000 Rohingya refugees without shelter. The heavy monsoon rain has caused a havoc in Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh.  The rain has triggered landslides killing six people including children and injuring several others. A large area in the camp has been inundated. The refugee men, women and especially children are in real distress with no food, water and shelter. We have also installed many tube-well pumps to provide clean and uncontaminated water to refugees within the camp.
