Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. 

InshaAllah everyone is doing well and staying safe and healthy. 

Iqraa Quran School is honored to have been a part of Milwaukee community, in Wisconsin for the past 10 years. We are building the foundation for raising our children into good Muslims who not only memorize the words of Allah but also learn to live by them. 

For the past 10 years, our school building has been home to the Iqraa family. As you may already know, our school building is a rented place that is not owned by us personally. Recently, the owner has listed the property for sale. Therefore, time has come for us to look at options that will be the best for Iqraa in the long-term InshaAllah.

We are asking for your generosity in this blessed month for Iqraa to continue its purpose. We appreciate any amount you would be able to donate. InshaAllah this will be a means of sadaqa jariyah for you and your family.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deedscome to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah(ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or avirtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله تعالى عنه: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: إِذَا مَاتَ ابنُ آدم انْقَطَعَعَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أو عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ. رَوَاهُمُسْلِمٌ.

This building has been a source of many barakahs for our mission of raising righteous children and is filled with many beautiful memories of watching each child grow. 

In this building, Iqraa School is where,

● 300+ children mean the world to us and every child is very valuable. Every child feels at home and feels that he/she belongs to this Muslim community.  

● Hafidhat are graduating, kids are learning Quran and its meaning in a very effective and fun way with very dedicated and patient teachers whose intentions are to let the children have a beautiful relationship with Allah swt through his book AlQuran alKareem.

● Understanding Quranic Arabic: Not only memorize the Quran but to be able to translate the Ayahs as well.

● Children learn about their deen in order to become confident Muslims.

● Focus on diversity and unity. Children meet friends from different backgrounds and they appreciate how Islam unites all under one religion.

● Regular Youth programs and field trips for Teen boys and girls. This is a place where they can come and talk and ask questions, hanging out with good and trusted suhba.

● We provide opportunities for our youth to take higher responsibilities in Iqraa, which enables them to gain confidence and experience by working in a respected and comfortable environment. 

● Many boys and girls who grew up at Iqraa find an opportunity to volunteer and to have training and a starting job where they feel comfortable and gain experience and confidence. They feel that they are being respected and appreciated while adding value to their own community.

قال الله تبارك وتعالى:

مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ (261)

The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
