Current Situation
The flood water is diminishing, the reason for such a sudden and devastating flood was that the floodgates were opened up in the upstream by the neighboring country. As the water is disappearing, the focus of urgency is on supporting and rehabilitating the affected people- helping them with reconstruction of houses, building schools, restoring clean water and other facilities.
